The Creative Character Challenge invites artists to create a full-body transformation that tells the story of becoming.

Whether inspired by nature, identity, culture, innovation, personal journeys, future visions or social change, competitors are encouraged to push creative boundaries and bring their vision to life through artistry, storytelling and transformation.

This category celebrates imagination, originality and the power of creative expression through full-body character design.

Competitors must create a complete full-body creative character inspired by the theme Becoming . A moodboard and design chart must be prepared prior to the competition & on display throughout.

The final look should demonstrate a strong creative concept and incorporate at least one 3D application as part of the overall design.

This category encourages competitors to explore innovative techniques and push the boundaries of creative artistry while maintaining a cohesive and impactful final presentation.

Mandatory Requirement

Competitors must incorporate a minimum of one 3D media application, including but not limited to:

• Prosthetic Pieces
• Direct 3D Application
• Sculptural Elements
• Creative 3D Embellishments

Competition Objective:

Create a visually striking full-body character that demonstrates exceptional creativity, technical excellence and storytelling through transformation.

Competitors should showcase their ability to combine multiple creative disciplines into one cohesive concept while pushing the boundaries of imagination and artistic innovation.

You’ll be judged on your interpretation of theme, design inspiration and attention to detail. It’s your skill and creativity with makeup that will win the day here.

C ompetition entry includes participation in your chosen category, plus full-day access to The Creative Edit Event for one artist and one model.  Additional team members, assistants and guests must purchase a standard event ticket to gain entry.
