Upon visiting our website and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms, conditions and policies listed below. These Terms apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to SHELEN .

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.

1. Terms & Conditions of Sale

1.1 Introduction

These Terms govern your use of the Site and any purchase of products, kits, courses, or services (“Products”) offered by SHELEN Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By visiting or ordering from www.shelen.co.uk, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or place orders.

1.2 Eligibility

Site use or ordering is permitted only for individuals aged 18+ resident in the UK or Ireland.

Accounts and newsletter sign-ups restricted to users aged 16+.

1.3 Orders & Acceptance

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Order confirmation is our acknowledgment only.

We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion. No additional terms apply unless expressly agreed in writing by both parties.

1.4 Prices & VAT

All retail prices include UK VAT at the current rate.

We reserve the right to change prices due to increased production costs prior to dispatch.

1.5 Payment Terms

Payments taken electronically at time of purchase via card or PayPal. For Trade Accounts separate terms apply; credit/debit card fraud checks may be performed.

1.6 Delivery

First class & Standard UK Mainland shipping (tracked & signed for used): rates calculated via Royal Mail and EVRI as shown at checkout. Orders placed after 4pm will be processed the next working day. We aim to ship all orders within 2 working days stock permitting.

International/Overseas/non-UK delivery: 7–10 days from dispatch; international shipping via Royal Mail or DHL, at variable cost.

Pre-order/bulk & education kit deliveries: up to 2–4 weeks or longer holiday periods.

1.7 Title & Risk

Title remains with us until full payment is made.

You must store goods in their original packaging until payment is complete. We reserve the right to recover goods if payment is not made in full.

1.8 Claims & Inspection

Notify us of missing or incorrect items within 4 days of delivery; damaged items must be reported within 7 days. Evidence may be required.

1.9 Returns & Refunds

Change of Mind: Non-faulty items may be returned within 14 days of purchase, unused, unopened, and in original packaging. Return postage at your cost; proof of postage/tracking required. Refund excludes delivery charges.

Faulty or Damaged Items: Notify us within 14 days; we’ll provide return instructions. Returns must include proof of postage.

On fault confirmation, we will replace or issue a refund within 30 days; we may reimburse reasonable return postage if agreed.

Courses & Training Packages: No refunds for course or training cancellations unless explicitly stated. Separate cancellation fees apply (see Section 14).

1.10 Returns Authorisation

Returns must be authorised in advance; unauthorised returns may be rejected. A restocking fee up to 20 % may apply to opened/resalable items. Bespoke kits are non-returnable.

1.11 Liability

Our liability is strictly limited to the invoice value of the goods. We exclude liability for indirect, special or consequential loss, except where prohibited by law.

We do not exclude liability for death/personal injury caused by negligence.

1.12 Promotions, Vouchers & Discounts

Terms of any sale, promotion or code (including duration, excluded items/categories) are at our discretion. Offers may be extended or ended early.

Gift codes/vouchers often limited to one use per customer and not combinable with other promotions.

SHELEN Student Discount Scheme:

Submit your online form then please email a clear image of your valid student ID to education@shelen.co.uk.

A bespoke discount code will be provided for you to use at checkout, after your submission has been approved. This is limited to your use. Miss use of this may result in cancelation of code.

Access to the SHELEN Student Discount Scheme will also give access to bespoke promotional deals, giveaways and work experience offers.

1.13 Intellectual Property

All site content, branding, images and manuals are owned or licensed by SHELEN Ltd.

You may view or print for personal use only; commercial use or reproduction requires written permission.

1.14 Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us for any loss/damage arising from misuse of Products or breach of these Terms.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site indicates acceptance of changes.

1.16 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by English law. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
